Do you enjoy helping animals and being outdoors? Lucky Horse Rescue would love your help.
At Lucky Horse Rescue, volunteers can help out with barn chores and the daily care of the horses. Not only will you learn about horses, but you will also feel a great sense of satisfaction from knowing that you helped make a difference in a horse’s life.
All volunteers are welcome to help with our horses, no matter what their experience level although some tasks require a greater level of comfort and experience with horses. Please be over 16 and have your own transportation. Please do not come to the farm without being contacted. Hours needed at this time are 8am-11Am
Volunteers can help with:
Grooming & Brushing
Washing the horses
Tacking up the horses
Feeding under supervision
Watering
Turn out
Cleaning water buckets
Mucking stalls
Manure hauling with tractor
General clean up of barn and walkways
Light Riding
Walking the horses
Website Design
