Lucky Horse Rescue

Mission: To provide rescue and rehabilitation for unwanted, at-risk, or neglected horses.

Lucky Horse Farm & Rescue is a a 501c3 non-profit organization located in Hasting, Florida.

At Lucky Horse Rescue volunteers can help out with barn chores and the daily care of the horses. Not only will you learn about horses, but you will also feel a great sense of satisfaction from knowing that you helped make a difference in a horse’s life.

All volunteers are welcome to help with our horses, no matter what their experience level although some tasks require a greater level of comfort and experience with horses. Volunteers can help with :

• Grooming & Brushing
• Washing the horses
• Tacking up the horses
• Feeding under supervision
• Watering
• Turn out
• Cleaning water buckets
• Mucking stalls
• Manure hauling with tractor
• General clean up of barn and walkways
• Light Riding
• Walking the horses
• Website Design
• Remote Volunteer Role: Online Resale Coordinator

  Tasks include:

  • Listing items on Facebook Marketplace or resale apps

  • Writing clear, appealing descriptions

  • Coordinating with local pickup/drop-off 

  • Tracking sales and updating inventory

  Great for someone who:

  • Has experience with online resale or thrifting

  • Enjoys organizing and storytelling through objects

   Wants a flexible, remote way to make a direct impact
• Remote Volunteer Role: Fundraising Partner 

  Help us grow our rescue’s support network through creative fundraising and outreach.

  Tasks include:

  • Crafting donation appeals for social media

  • Brainstorming low-cost fundraising ideas

  • Reaching out to local businesses for partnerships or donation jars

  • Helping track donations and thank supporters

  Great for someone who:

  • Has experience with fundraising, marketing, or event planning

  • Enjoys community-building and creative problem-solving

  • Wants to support rescue animals through strategic impact
