Pie in the Sky Community Alliance, Inc.

Mission: We are committed to fighting senior hunger and social isolation in our community.

Pie in the Sky began in the summer of 2009 as a little pie shop on Main Street in Hastings. The community was rife with issues of poverty, social injustice and a host of underserved people who fell through the cracks for most services. The pie shop baked and sold pies to raise money to help fill in those cracks.

Our Mission Today:  We are committed to fighting senior hunger and social isolation in our community.

Our Vision:  We envision a community where all seniors have access to fresh, nutritious food and human connection.

Today, Pie in the Sky Community Alliance, Inc. connects seniors with resources and facilitates long term solutions that affect the lives of the elderly who are historically under-served in our community.  By providing fresh fruits, vegetables, and emotional support to those who are among the most vulnerable while struggling with hunger and food insecurity, Pie in the Sky is fighting senior hunger in St. Johns County efficiently and effectively.
