Who We Are

Mission: To make the best better through school 4-H clubs, community clubs, special interest groups, afterschool programs, camps and many other activities.

4-H is a joint effort of local county governments, the University of Florida and the United States Department of Agriculture.  4-H is a community of young people across America learning leadership, citizenship and life skills.  As one of our nation’s oldest, yet most current organizations, 4-H is reaching millions of young people with positive youth development opportunities.

What We Do

4-H enables youth to have fun, meet new people, learn new life skills, build self-confidence, learn responsibility, and set and achieve goals! Youth learn by doing and receive an award for a project. 4-H offers such a wide range of projects, programs and activities that every member can do well in 4-H. It starts on a club level, then moves on to a county, district, state, national and international level.
