Volunteer: Visitor Information Center Volunteer
St. Johns County Chamber Of Commerce is seeking a cheerful, courteous volunteer to work at the Visitor Information Center in Ponte Vedra Beach.
Responsibilities Include:
Greet visitors to the Visitor's Information Center
Answer telephone calls and general inquiries
Be knowledgeable about amenities in the Ponte Vedra Beach area as well as St. Augustine and greater Jacksonville area
Respond to requests related to tourism and relocation
Create a friendly, courteous and professional atmosphere for all those visiting the Center
Maintain a list of current local attraction and cultural events
Keep the brochures stocked and ensure the displays are in order
Maintain and record visitor inquiries and requests
Assist with special events when necessary, including gift bag stuffing and/or information packet assembly for our mobile VIC
Training and additional resource guides will be provided.
