St. Johns County Chamber Of Commerce is seeking a cheerful, courteous volunteer to work at the Visitor Information Center in Ponte Vedra Beach.
Responsibilities Include:
- Greet visitors to the Visitor's Information Center
- Answer telephone calls and general inquiries
- Be knowledgeable about amenities in the Ponte Vedra Beach area as well as St. Augustine and greater Jacksonville area
- Respond to requests related to tourism and relocation
- Create a friendly, courteous and professional atmosphere for all those visiting the Center
- Maintain a list of current local attraction and cultural events
- Keep the brochures stocked and ensure the displays are in order
- Maintain and record visitor inquiries and requests
- Assist with special events when necessary, including gift bag stuffing and/or information packet assembly for our mobile VIC
Training and additional resource guides will be provided.
