Who We Are

Mission: To serve children with a variety of disorders ranging from developmental delays that may be overcome with early care and treatment to lifelong conditions that maybe alleviated with ongoing support and appropriate care regimes.

The division of neurodevelopmental pediatrics in the department of pediatrics at the University of Florida College of Medicine – Jacksonville brings together teams of specialists including therapists, counselors, psychologists and physicians to work with children at risk for learning, behavioral or developmental delays.

What We Do

We provide neurodevelopmental evaluations for children who are suspected of having a disability. We provide informational (training and consultation) and instrumental (consultation, family support, and skill-building groups) assistance to families and schools to help children reach their full potential.

Our division sponsors several sections and programs, including the Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (CARD), the Early Steps Program and the Florida Diagnostic and Learning Resources System (FDLRS).
